Last night was the New York premiere of Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee and there’s pictures up in the gallery from the arrivals and after party. The pictures include a little surprise, so no previews will be given here 
Also, Anna is in the June 2007 issue of Allure. I do have the magazine and will scan it some time today because I am still in the process of adding more pictures from the premiere.

As you can see, there is a new layout. I promise this one will stay put for awhile. Anyway, the main point of this update is let you guys know that I’ve uploaded a clip from the audio book that Anna did back in 1994 to the media section, you can find it here. It’s just a minute clip and not the full story, and I will eventually add clips from the other 3 stories on the CD. I will not upload the full stories because while the CD is rare, it’s still attainable for purchase if you look hard enough. And please, please do not post the file on any other sites.
Paquin talks about her career in a corset

Not so long ago, Anna Paquin fretted she might have a career confined by a corset.
“For the first couple of years of my career, I thought I would be doing corset movies the rest of my life,” says Paquin, 24, whose credits include period pieces like “The Piano,” “Jane Eyre” and now HBO’s “Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee,” which premieres Sunday
But time and puberty took away some of her fears.
“The best thing about growing up on film is that you can’t do the same (roles) over and over because you are always (growing physically),” she says.

Blue State Festival Dates

CineVegas Film Festival released the list of films at the festival in June and Blue State is one of them! The screening dates are June 13th and 14th.
I’m personally very excited it’s going to be there because I will be able to go.
Edit. The film will also be screening at the Little Rock Film Festival (May 17-20), Winnipeg International Film Festival (Closing Night – June 9th) and Waterfront Film Festival (June 7 – 10). Thanks to the Blue State MySpace for this info.
