I just finished adding screencaps from 25th Hour including the film itself, deleted scenes and the Spike Lee documentary on the DVD. Previews and links below.

Also, I have been seeing Anna’s name on a lot of Emmy nomination prediction lists in the last day or so. I guess we will see if any of them were right when nominations are announced in the morning!

ETA. ShockTillYouDrop.com has confirmed that Warner Bros. Pictures is still planning on releasing writer/director Michael Dougherty’s Trick ‘r Treat to theaters on October 5, despite rumors it was moved back to 2008.

Trick ‘R Treat Comic!

Monday, July 16th, 2007

ComicList posted a list of upcoming DC comics and it included this nifty one:

TRICK ’R TREAT #1-4
Written by Marc Andreyko
Art by Fiona Staples, Grant Bond and Mike Huddleston
Covers by Breehn Burns, Sean Galloway, Ragnar and Michael Dougherty

In the best tradition of horror comics comes Trick ’r Treat, a 4-issue, weekly shipping miniseries based on the major motion picture written and directed by Michael Dougherty (co-writer of Superman Returns and X-Men 2), produced by Bryan Singer, and starring Dylan Baker, Brian Cox, and Anna Paquin.

Each issue presents a vignette and weaves together four tales of terror and laughter as we witness a sleepy suburban neighborhood’s transformation into a Halloween horror! Small towns have never been so full of creepy characters — from a serial killer who specializes in poisoning candy and a group of mischievous kids who unearth their town’s dark secret, to a young woman hunted by a masked stalker at the local festival, or a cantankerous old hermit dealing with a demonic trick-or-treater…these stories will grab hold and pull you in — whether you like it or not! The first issue ships during the opening week of this major motion picture from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures!

Issue #1 on sale October 3; issue #2 on sale October 10; issue #3 on sale October 24; issue #4 on sale October 31 • 1-4 of 4 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • MATURE READERS

Box Office Mojo is saying that Trick ‘R Treat’s release date has been pushed back to 2008, but there has been no official word from Warner Bros nor has the date changed on Michael Dougherty’s website, so who knows whether this is true or not, but I will keep you guys updated.

Also, there is going to be a sneak peek of Trick ‘R Treat at Comic-Con on July 27th!

This is a little delayed, but I’m sure that most of you have noticed the candids from June 24th and 27th that are up in the gallery

Also, an update on True Blood from Charlaine Harris‘ message board:

The latest word on the show. The pilot was completed last week, and it’s being edited, I believe in New York. When that process is completed, the HBO execs will view it and either approve or dump the show. If a positive decision is the outcome, the rest of the episodes will go into production and the show will be put on the HBO schedule. I’ll let you know as soon as I can.
