Academy Award-winning actress Anna Paquin and two relatives have paid $1,575,000 for a restored home in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills that was built in 1938.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the purchase by Paquin, 25, and her brother and sister-in-law, which closed on July 18 and was recorded on July 24, according to public records.
Features in the traditional-style home, which is behind the gates of Hollywoodland in the Beachwood Village area of the Hollywood Hills, include four bedrooms, three baths, a gourmet kitchen, a spiral staircase, hardwood floors, all-new systems, marble baths, fireplaces, a new roof, a barbecue and a two-car garage, according to listing information. The house sits on a 0.22-acre lot, according to public records. It had been on the market for $1,849,000, according to listing information.
Given that the actress long has been a resident of New York, it’s unclear whether the actress simply is helping her brother and sister-in-law with the purchase, or whether she intends to crash at the home when she’s in L.A.

Oh God! Very Nice!
Hollywood Hills is beautiful!
I love the pics of House…
That was very nice of her, though the house I grew up in in Michigan was very similar and on a bigger lot, but my parents only paid less than $200,000! Hollywood is so overrated…
