7be7a6d0ca_anna10262007.jpg Oscar-winning actress – and Cape Cod Theatre Project alum – Anna Paquin graces the cover Boston Common magazine’s holiday issue and talks to the maggie about her upcoming HBO series, “True Blood.”

The drama, to air on the cable channel in January, follows a small Louisiana town where “vampires have integrated themselves as the current minority group,” the 25-year-old “X-Men” star tells BC.

Paquin plays a bleached blonde diner waitress who lives in the vampire-infested town where things “get dark and twisted, funny and creepy, very quickly,” she says.

Paquin also takes the opportunity to flog her upcoming film, “Margaret,” in which she stars opposite Cambridge cutie Matt Damon. She fails, however, to say anything about Damon. And we’re just sick about that.

I am already working on getting a copy of the magazine :)

Margaret News / Gallery Update

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

Hey guys, I just uploaded a bunch of stuff to the gallery which I will get to but first I have an exclusive update on Margaret. I recently contacted Nico Muhly, who is going to be scoring the film, and he told me that he has not started scoring it yet and the release is “probably not for another 9 months, minimum!”

And for the gallery, I finally got a chance to replace the Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee screencaps, as well as add screencaps from The Squid And The Whale, the Re-Voicing Steamboy featurette from the Steamboy DVD and Almost Famous (the director’s cut) including the Making Of and Love Comes And Goes.

I added screencaps from the bonus features on the Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee DVD that Anna was in, Making History and Photo Gallery. I will replace the current screencaps of the film with screencaps from the DVD some time this week.

“True Blood” is currently filming, so things are probably going to be slow for awhile.
