Paquin is back, playing the lead role in HBO’s True Blood, proving once again that vampires sell. The cable program’s opening broadcast totaled 2.1 million viewers in September 2008. Because of her new role, however, Paquin did not return to her role as Rogue in the cast of the X-Men franchise, which released its fourth film this spring.

    I loved Anna as Roque, and of course I love her in True Blood. In the beginning I thought Stephan and Anna made the passionate love scenes LOOK SO REAL. Well, needless to say, the jokes on me….I was so happy to find they were a loving couple for real.

    Anna, you are such a treasure and a gifted actress. You and Stephan are a treasure as a loving couple ~ Bless you both.
