HBO announced the renewal of its entire Sunday night lineup, ordering another round of freshman comedy “Hung,” veteran comedy “Entourage” and hit vampire drama “True Blood.”
“Hung” will return for a second season next year. A third season of “Blood” and a seventh season of “Entourage” are on tap for 2010 as well.
The freshly formed Sunday night combination of “Blood,” “Hung” and “Entourage” has been successful for the network, giving HBO two consecutive hours of hit programming for the first time in years.
“Blood” has managed to increase its audience with nearly every episode, giving the network its most-watched show since “The Sopranos.”
