The nominations for the 2009 Satellite Awards were announced and True Blood was nominated for DVD Release of a TV Show Award and Special Achievement Award (Best Television Ensemble) while The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler was nominated for Motion Picture Made for Television. The winners will be announced December 20th.
