After being in front of the camera for well over a decade, it was time for Anna to branch out and go behind the scenes. Her brother, Andrew, with a background in finance had previously produced short films. With her experience on the creative end and his on the business end, their production company, Paquin Films, was born.

Their first film was the political romantic comedy, Blue State, written and directed by Marshall Lewy. Andrew had previously produced Marshall’s short film, Balkanization.
