Nominations for the 37th annual Saturn Awards were announced. Anna earned another nomination for Best Actress in Television this year. The winners will be announced in June.
Christchurch, New Zealand was unfortunately hit by another massive earthquake. As a fan of New Zealand, this is devastating news. The country is also Anna’s homeland, so I encourage everyone to donate to the New Zealand Red Cross and to keep the country in their thoughts.
Paley Center announced the lineup for the True Blood panel and Anna Paquin will be attending. The panel is on March 5th, 2011. Information on how to attend and who else is attending can be found here.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have donated a signed copy of the “Evil Is Going On” (episode 3.12) script to help benefit the Darnell Family once more. Simply Moyer will be hosting the auction of the script via eBay. It will begin on February 14th and end on February 23rd.
The auction is now live at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330530309757&ssPageName=STRK:MESCX:IT
From Variety:
“Phineas and Ferb” is proving to be a draw for star-caliber voice casting for its coming season.
Michael Douglas, Tina Fey, Michael J. Fox and Jane Lynch will headline the guest cast for the third season of the Disney Channel animated hit.
Joan Cusack, Jamie Oliver and Anna Paquin will also supply guest voices for this season’s run, which bows March 4.
Douglas is guesting along with his 10-year-old son Dylan in a haunted house episode, while Fox and Paquin will pay homage to their “Teen Wolf” and “True Blood” roles. Oliver, of ABC’s “Food Revolution,” will be a meatloaf competition judge.
Meanwhile, Lynch will be Phineas and Ferb’s sister’s boyfriend’s mother, and Fey plays an eager buyer for the headquarters of Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc.
“Phineas” has spent three years as the most-watched animated series among kids 9-14 and ranks No. 1 on Disney XD, where it also airs, in total viewers. It airs in about 170 countries and 34 languages.
The season-three premiere will get a preview on Disney Channel’s subscription-based VOD outlet (via Cablevision, Time Warner, Verizon and AT&T).
Vincent Martella, Thomas Sangster, Ashley Tisdale, Mitchel Musso, Caroline Rhea, Richard O’Brien, Dee Bradley Baker, Alyson Stoner and co-creators Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and Dan Povenmire form the series’ regular cast.
